The Dinner Date is a short drama that shows a special bond between Jason, a lonely guy in his mid-twenties, and his single-parent mum diagnosed with dementia. Being the sole caregiver of his mum, he takes care of her daily needs and meals. Despite having little to no social life, Jason finally scores a date with his crush. The only problem - his mum doesn't want him to go.
